In accordance with Minnesota Statute 245A.151, I have been approved by the State Fire Marshal Division for the purposes of conducting day care/foster care inspections. I am an approved local inspector for; Child and Adult Foster Care, Group and Family Day Care, Child and Adult Centers, Preschools, Chemical Treatment, and Other DHS Facilities. By law, the State Fire Marshal must conduct day care/foster care inspections where there is no local fire code inspector, or the local fire code inspector does not conduct these inspections.
